Flamingo Fling was the name of the 29th annual meeting event of
the Green Valley Sahuarita,
Arizona Chamber of Commerce last Friday at Desert Diamond
Casino. Green Valley / Sahuarita Chamber have 650 Business Members. The tropical theme was seen throughout the crowd as several hundred business
leaders and community movers and shakers donned floral shirts and palm
tree embellished dresses and other South Seas accessories to fit the mood
of the occasion. One of
the major highlights of the evening was the announcement of Best Business’s of
the Year.
The long-awaited honors went to various Chamber member businesses, highlighting the top in each category. New Business, Small Business, Large Business, Non Profit Business &
Home Business. · Best Small Business of the Year had 5 finalists &
Custom Plus was the winner of this category. Paul & Rosalie Brinkmeyer formally from Peoria AZ & Bismarck N.D. Paul &
Rosalie joined the Green Valley Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce April 2007. Rosalie and Paul Brinkmeyer, owners of Custom

Paul and Rosalie make a great team in a family business. Paul’s background is
primarily in engineering and computer technology, while Rosalie, with a
background in business, brings many years of sales and marketing expertise to
their store. Both Brinkmeyer’s are
self-taught graphic artists who relish the creative side of the business. Engraving, direct garment printing, creating
logos and digitizing your logo for embroidery are just a few of the talents the
couple brings to the business. On-site
equipment includes machines for commercial embroidery, one for direct garment
printing, a laser engraver and mechanical engraver. The range of equipment allows Custom Plus to
do engraving and embroidery on many surfaces, including wood, plastic, glass,
crystal, and jewelry, in addition to fabric.
Emphasis on service: The Brinkmeyer’s pride themselves on service that is both speedy and affordable, they said. “Customer service is very important to us. We
